GVPR is involved with sustainable mining and mineral exporation for more than two decades. Specializing in iron ore and granites, SSML has obtained lease of iron ore mine in the State of Karnataka.

SSML owns adequate construction equipment namely excavator, dumpers, automated drilling machines, compressors, imported crushing and screening plants for carrying out mining activities. During the year 2008-09, we have exported and marketed about 4 Lakh Tonnes of good quality Iron ore. We are also in the process of acquiring iron ore areas in Karnataka to double our production and sales targets.

Our mines are situated about 50 Kms from Bellary and Hospet cities, and are well connected by road and railway. The NEB range Iron ore is one of the best hematite Iron ore in India. Iron Ore obtained from the quarries has 63.5% of iron content. The ore is obtained from the quarries stocked in stock yards for further processing. After completion of processing i.e., Crushing, Screening, and grading the material is exported.

We have our granite processing plants in Andhra Pradesh which are fully equipped with latest machinery imported from Germany. SSML has exported granite to Japan, United Kingdom, USA, Belgium, Holland, Germany, New Zealand, Australia, Sri Lanka, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Norway, Ireland, etc. SSML is now developing a new Black Galaxy granite quarry in Andhra Pradesh.

SSML received Best Export Award from the Government of India continuously for 5 years (1990-91 to 1995-96). These awards were bestowed on us in recognition of our Best Performance.
