The major components of the Mega Lift projects covered under these packages are as follows:

Execution of 8 nos. of Lift Irrigation Schemes with intake points on Vamsadhara river having command area between 500Ha to 2000Ha in cluster no.1 in the districts of Gajapati and Rayagada including its distribution network.Execution of 13 nos. of Lift Irrigation Schemes with intake points on Kolab river, Indravati river, Hati river, tail race channel of Indravati Power House having command area between 500Ha to 2000Ha in cluster no.2 in the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Kalahandi and Nabrangpur including its distribution network.After completion of the above two lift irrigation projects, it will benefits the farmers in the districts of Gajapati, Rayagada, Malkangiri, Koraput, Kalahandi and Nabrangpur in Odisha State by providing Irrigation Water Distribution Network of Cultivatable Command Area of 7655Ha and 10,980Ha respectively by these two schemes.
